This is a very unusual wooden keepsake box, it can be also be used as a wooden jewelry box. It’s a lovely gift for someone interested in the Chinese zodiac, Taoist or feng shui symbols.

The lid is embedded with an antique-looking amulet decorated with the symbols from the Chinese zodiac.
The side is made from a single piece of woodcut as a living hinge, this allows light to be seen through the side.

To make this a really personal item the underside of the lid can be engraved with a message of your choice, or left blank.

The box is 5 cm in height and 7.5 cm across, which is approximately 2 inches by 3 inches.

The box is made with entirely vegan materials, including the walnut stain and glue.
